Side on, whole body in frame, the top set only. The three things I check before I write back.

Online clients send me one video a week: the top set of the main lift. I watch every one, usually twice, and reply the same day.

How to film it

Phone on the floor or a bench, side on, about ten feet away, with your whole body and the bar in frame. Landscape. No music, no slow motion. The top set only.

What I check

Where the bar travels, and whether it stays over the middle of your foot. How deep you go, and whether that depth is the same on the last rep as on the first. And speed: a rep that slows down halfway tells me more about next week's weight than any number you write.

Most weeks the reply is one sentence. That's how it should be.
